Okay

Not Feeling Okay Today?

There are times when we all experience challenging times for whatever reason.

Maybe our health is not up to par or we struggle in our relationships, or finances or careers...the list goes on.

To be alive is to struggle to a degree.

None of us are immune to suffering. Yet, all of us develop strength, resources, lessons, resilience, and gifts from our experiences.

And sometimes we just need to allow ourselves not to be okay.

A wonderful psychologist I came across awhile ago would say to his clients, "I hope you have an okay day!" And he meant well. He worked with individuals experiencing varying degree of OCD which can be absolutely torturous. So in his world "Okay" was okay.

Sure, we all want to be more than okay, perhaps even be thriving. And that's a great intention and worthy ideal.

Yet a state of thriving is also not a destination. It's a journey.

So, if you're having one of those okay days.

Know you're going to be alright.

On that lovely note, I also want to share with you a recent podcast interview I did on "Behind the Stigma".

If you enjoy it, please share it with those who would benefit.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you need additional support.

We continue in earnest solidarity.

Warmest Regards,
