Lightness of Aging
How to Appreciate the Age You're In
My daughter and I are both January babies.
She turned 21 and I am now 44 years young:) and I keep telling myself I'm still youth-ing lol
Aging is an interesting thing.
How do you feel about the age you're at?
Well, recently I came across a Ted X talk that had me in absolute stitches.
I've been watching more Ted X talks recently as I'm in the process of preparing to give one.
If I can be as funny and entertaining as lady "Jane Caro" (Link down below),
I'm surprised she doesn't have 10,000,000+ views...
What I got out of this talk is how important it is to appreciate and accept the age we are at, especially as we get older. Because for one you'll never be this age again, and this day, this month, and this year will never come again!
So, why fret about our age?
Instead, cherish each and every year. Cherish each and every moment. Appreciate each step of your beautiful journey.
That's one of my intentions moving forward.
To be okay, even to love and appreciate every single age I'm privilege to LIVE.
Our attitude towards our age or our bodies is our choice.
That's a good thing.
There's some challenges and rewards that come with every age and that's a good thing.
We are always in a state of change, growth, and evolution.
Nothing stays the same.
Everything changes.
What are your thoughts about getting older?
Feel free to reply to this email and share.
Until next time we continue in solidarity.
