How I Healed Schizophrenia
Interview with Harmony Bright

"I felt like I was dying on those meds. I felt like I was going to aspirate to death on those meds... You're just supposed to shut up and take your meds even though they don't work." ~ Harmony Bright ~
Dear friend,
Hope this finds you well.
Wherever you are on your health journey, it’s always encouraging to hear stories of success with metabolic therapies and the keto diet. There are more and more people coming and sharing their success stories.
I recently met with Harmony Bright who has a phenomenal story of losing 137lbs through keto and discovering that the diet also impacted her schizophrenia. This is one of the most powerful use of diet to improve mental health I’ve ever heard of.
Harmony began experiencing symptoms of schizophrenia in adolescences and was officially diagnosed at 32. She has spent the last 4-years transforming her mental and physical health. Through low-carb diet, exercise, and intermittent fasting, she discovered that being in ketosis also helped alleviate symptoms of her schizophrenia.
I hope you enjoy this conversation and find inspiration and hope through her story. She goes in to great detail about how she implemented keto, the adverse effects of antipsychotic drugs, and the challenges that come with psychiatric drug tapering.
I hope you enjoy this conversation and find inspiration and hope. Please forward this to anyone who may benefit.
Feel free to leave me your questions, comments, and feedback below. Thank you for taking the time to visit here.
